Happy
2001! Hope you all had a merry holiday. And those of you that got to experience SNOW enjoyed
it. Now it is time to turn our thoughts to
the upcoming horse show season. The Louisiana
Paint Horse Club has some new board members and lots of new ideas. This is the year we are turning our club around,
more profit, more classes and most of all, more fun. |

On
Sunday, Jan. 7 we had a board meeting. Show
dates were finalized, a new Youth Director was appointed much discussion took place in
reference to making our club bigger and better. First
off we want to increase our membership, this can be done with the help of each and every
member. Next, we want to make our shows more
fun, anyone with ideas, please advise! Cattle
classes are being investigated and we hope to be adding some this year. Breeding Stock classes are being added. |

shows approved for LPHC points - March 31, Haughton,
and May 19, Haughton. The ArkLaTex show points will count, but not
judges. |

Year
End Awards - To qualify for year end awards in 2001, points will be accumulated
for all LPHC shows and 2 ArkLaTex shows - March
31 and May 19 in Haughton - But judges for these ArkLaTex shows will NOT
count. You must have shown under 50% plus 1 judge at LPHC shows. (That's 8 judges
this year!) |
