OUR NEXT SHOW is Azalea Classic back-to-back PORs! You can show to 8 judges over the course of two days, April 12th and 13th, 2003. The shows are two four-judge shows that will take place at the Ike Hamilton Exposition Center in West Monroe, Louisiana, starting at 8:00 AM each day. Click here for a printable showbill. The show manager is Lynn Hargus. You can call her at (318) 547-0223 or send her an email. If you call for stall reservations, leave a message if necessary, but make sure to clearly leave your name, the number of stalls, and any special requirements. Pre entries are not required except for Working Cowhorse Classes.

The Ike Hamilton Expo Center is one of our newer facilities. Shavings are $6.00/bag and the facility does not allow outside shavings to be brought into the asphalt stalls. Camper hookups are available at $15/night.

Our host hotel for the Azalea Classic is the Fairfield Inn by Marriott located at the corner of I-20 and Constitution Drive in West Monroe, LA. Their phone number is 318-388-3810. Note that the discount only applies if you mention the Louisiana Paint Horse Club at the time of check in/reservations.

Directions to the Show Facility:

From I-20 East:

Exit I-20 onto Thomas Road. Turn left and cross over the interstate. At the first light, turn right onto Constitution Drive (which functions like the usual service roads); follow Constitution Drive, passing the restaurants, hotels & Visitor's Center. Continue straight at the stop sign, crossing under the arched overpass--you will see the IKE ahead and to the left.

From I-20 West:

You will see the Ike to the right as you pass the Well Road Exit. Exit I-20 onto Thomas Road. At the first light, turn right onto Constitution Drive (which functions like the usual service roads); follow Constitution Drive, passing the restaurants, hotels & Visitor's Center. Continue straight at the stop sign, crossing under the arched overpass--you will see the IKE ahead and to the left.
